I would like to formally announce that I will be seeking a second term as your State Representative from the 13th district. I would also like to extend my thanks to the volunteers who helped me in securing well over enough signatures to get on the ballot. To any of you who assisted circulating or signed my petitions, you have my sincere gratitude.

Despite the historic economic downturn which resulted in a brutally long chaotic state budget battle, I was still able to get things done for Pennsylvanians and my constituents in the 13th. Although I had much success in my first year, there is still much to be done - especially the monumental task of school property tax reform - and that is why I need your support.

"I've been here for twenty-six years and I've seen many Representatives come and go, spending years, in some cases decades, without even coming close to what Tom has accomplished in just fourteen months. As a former Township Supervisor in a heavily Republican region, we knew that he had a record of bringing people together to get things done. We never dreamed that he would achieve this much success! Being able to work with members from across the aisle is key to being an effective legislator and leader. His legislative accomplishments, during the worst economic collapse since the Great Depression, are proof of Tom's bipartisan nature and his ability to bring people together.
